SNAC Scanner: Efficient Attendance Management for Schools
SNAC Scanner is an Android application developed by APPtitude Pte Ltd Singapore. It is a sub-modular application designed to support educational institutions in Singapore with their attendance-taking process. The app is a companion to the SNAC eAttendance system and offers a convenient solution for handling high volume scanning and syncing attendance data to the Ministry of Education Student Connect (MOE SC) platform.
With SNAC Scanner, schools can easily take attendance using students' EZlink or NRIC cards, which have barcodes that can be scanned using a smartphone. The app also provides a manual entry field for cases where barcode scanning is not feasible.
One of the key features of SNAC Scanner is its offline attendance-taking capability. In situations where there is limited or poor internet network coverage, the app allows schools to continue taking attendance offline. Once the internet network resumes, the attendance data is automatically synced to MOE SC.
